TCAMEC ANNUAL REPORT FORM

At the end of each conference year, in each District of the A.M.E. Church, every church gives an accounting of their numerical, statistical, financial and labors in the vineyard. This report is presented to the Bishop and members of their Districts during their Annual Conference.

The purpose of Tanner’s Annual Report form is a to provide each Auxiliary, Board, Council, Commission, Committee, Ministry, or Organization with an opportunity to share in detail the events or programs they held during the conference year. From these annual report form submissions, the information is compiled into Tanner’s Annual Pastoral Report (printed and digital).

It is important to capture not only the numerical, statistical and financial efforts of the church but also to show the efforts and works of the church to do Kingdom building and serve in the Kingdom through its various ministries and organizations.

TELL THE STORY
EXAMPLE:
During the 2019 - 2020 conference year, we held a “Live Simply” workshop which focused on the scripture reference: Romans 8:5-6: Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

The workshop, held on Saturday, February 16, 2020, was led by Rev. John Young of Glory AME Church in New York, NY. It was well attended with over 120 men and women from Tanner and our community. The highlights of the workshop were the breakouts: What IS a FULL LIFE IN CHRIST?, How to Have GODLY CONTENTMENT, and What REALLY Makes Our Life Worth Living?
